Shiitake mushroom brings out an elegant natural Umami flavor in each food ingredient.

The natural Umami of food ingredients, such as tomatoes, carrots, dairy products, meat, seafood, etc., is further enhanced when grating Shiitake over the top. Each food element becomes rich in Umami, creating an elegant symphony of flavor.

Our Shiitake mushrooms are cultivated in Poland. We recommend that you grate your dried Shiitake  over any dish that needs an enhanced UMAMI flavor to it. Enjoy!

The shiitake mushrooms are delivered in a stylish Borosilicate glass jar, with cork lid OR a recyclable paper bag - Your choice - The jar is protected in a sustainable cardboard gift box, designed and produced in Sweden. The paper bag is recyclable in the cardboard bin. Both jar and bag holds the same amount of mushrooms.

HOMEGROUND UMAMI POWDER - The perfect all-spice mix

1 half deciliter dried Shiitake
1 half deciliter tomato powder or rosehip powder
1 teaspoon dried thyme
1 teaspoon dried rosemary

Mix together and store dry. Can be used over most dishes. Taste yourself.
