005 KITCHEN - The large one

KITCHEN brings you the renowned RIVSALT gastronomic experience to your cooking area. With our extra-large grater in stainless steel, you grate salt from Himalayan salt rocks directly into pots and pans and over fish and meat. The well-proportioned board in natural oak serves as a solid base for the grater and has room for up to four additional salt rocks.

This larger version of our original 001 RIVSALT product includes a Japanese style grater, a Himalaya salt rock and a table stand made from natural oak. All items are delivered in a gift pack.

006 BBQ - 3kg Himalayan salt block

A fun way to cook that also enhances the taste. The salt block has a natural non-stick surface and is used as a griddle on the barbecue. Ideal when grilling meat, fish, shellfish, or vegetables.

Oil the surface and heat up the block slowly to turn it into a sizzling cooking surface that flavors your food evenly. The salt block can also be chilled and used as a decorative serving plate, for instance for sushi.

Our yellow amazon chili grows in Colombia. It belongs to the sharper but not extreme group of chilies with 50,000-70,000 Scoville heat units. Amazon chilies are harvested just before full ripeness, that’s why they are yellow. Refine your soups, meat dishes and dips with this grated delight.

026 BIRDS EYE CHILI

The red bird's eye chili originates from Uganda and each plant produces numerous hot pods. With 90,000-120,000 heat units on the Scoville scale, it’s among the world’s hottest chilies. The sharpness is intense and direct, and the taste is similar to Thai chili. Perfect for hot Asian dishes and your home-made BBQ sauce.

027 JALAPENO CHILI

RIVSALT’s dried and organic green JALAPENO CHILI is grown in Spain. The taste is mild, round, and fruity with a heat around 5,000 Scoville units. Sprinkle grated jalapeño over meat dishes such as chili con carne and goulash, season the cheddar cheese sauce and grate jalapeño over your homemade pizza. Jalapeño chili is mild enough to suit most dishes and hot enough to make a difference.
